First Fight with Team Lead:
I came back from vacation, but that so unpleasant, when Venky informed me,about his release from MMC next week(as usual finding issue), even though it was confidential between manager and lead, but my lead intimated him to start searching new Job, he don’t have much time. I got his all work, as usual he had lot off work to finished, one new module where no one from India team had work earlier, I had only a week to complete, even I was not sure about requirement, First time I checked with Rama Master of my team off course of application as well,
he helped me, next day when I asked again, he blasted on me, I am busy, I can’t help, don’t even touch my environment as well.
I was fucked off; One of our Lead Mr. Pawan suggested to ask help from US team, what he used to do. there was no time to ask
US developer to work on that. I have a portrait at my home, with quotation “ If you think you can, you Can, else you are right”,
I decided to work on that even I don’t have any idea how to start, first time I chat with master of module ‘Sal’, he check with another
expert and help me to make my job done. Meanwhile testing started, that entire service needs to invoke from one radio button, so I though let’s Make radio button unavailable till back ground code is missing, Tester was good but new, when he raised issue, I blasted on him, just a radio button missing how come severity-1, he reduced to 3, my job done. I got three days and all done, but then I went to report my lead to inform all set now, I was expecting same Well done comment what was in practice with Alam and Venky. But here picture was different, Chandra told me what you did in 7 days, I could finished in 7 hours, what’s great deal in that, fuck off man, I was unable to hold my anger
I told him listen Boss, If would know what to type, it might be done in 7 minute, and I don’t have your experience, no one in India team is here to help, and end of the day, Did I asked you to assign this to me?
Later on I realize, this is his way to encourage the people. That incident created better understanding with my Lead Chandra ,Rama.and team.
Project that, I never forget (PB067):
One of most horriable project I ever worked, simple project with lot off confusing requirement from BRD to till system testing.
Actually we are three developers assigned to that project, as usual I planned to code at end, and luckily some dependency was there
for my coding. Each projects usually having one main developer who has more hours and load to work, that guy was “Nattu Bhai” here.
No one aware, he got the call from some US university for his MS degree, because he keep assuring, I will load the code,
First of testing we got only one issue and that was "code is not yet loaded", Some how we push that to system-engineer by
saying he didn’t correct the table data. No one has tested the code, no integration of project, as every body loaded his code at end
of the Development phase. As soon as testing started Nattu Bhai left the company. NO one knows what code he loaded and
if he really loaded the code. I am not sure if tester was interested to test the project or performance testing of trouble ticket tool.
Every day minimum 5 to 10 tickets, I took ownership, that was only mistake what I did with that project, not because of I was really so interested but could not able to tolerate, when stupid manager’s putting his useless question to Chandra. Competition started
between tester and me, to create ticket and fix that, but we realize the fact after crossing the count of 50, while we are fixing issue,
we don’t really care if dependent code is working fine. Finally Rama, Chnadra and me decided to check the entire code and fix all issues,
but it was too late and we reach closed to century. Manager’s don’t even bothered why it happens all blame, comes on my head,
that reflect on my rating, only good thing comes from this project is, It build our Team. This project does not spoiled me but partially
Baswa, Chandra as well.
Most interesting discussion with Management Team Ever:
It was December/2008, my dear friend Uma, went on vacation, putting me as backup for his one of the project.
I knew, he is expert in contract generation, so there should be no issue, I really didn’t even check what he did.
It was 13 Dec/2008; evening 5 O’clock as usual I was enjoying my beer with few of my friends, suddenly one of most
responsible guy of development team call me to check UCT issue, and join the bridge Now, What the fuck is this man,
how come issue, if ST/UAT all went cool, how come suddenly issue in UCT, after 10 minute I joined the bridge, unfortuatelly
even ST folks was backup like me, I asked to him check in other places if we have correct template in any enviroment,
we will copy from there and make it done. We found few new issues while started testing to other places. My ST Manager asked
a senseless question, how come developer delivered this non sense, what kind of code is this. My Beer started working, fortunately
Senior US manger was there on call, when I asked, to him let it discussed it first, “How come System tester approve this change”?
Either they didn’t test or they have no idea what to test? No answer, he dropped the call.
I told to all managers whoever was on call; I can fix this issue but only if, testing team accepting his mistake.
After a long pause some one asked me check the issue. I took 2 hours to be in office as I had no choice, without
finished my remaining beers. When I reached to office, I saw Mr. Raj was doing some R&D with that issue. I joined call and
announce I need 2 hours to fix this, I started working, there was 36 mistake we corrected 32 but unable for remaining 4,
I missed to mention this was with template(PDF and RTF). We got some help from one of our US developer and System engineer,
no gain. all useless R&D.
It’s was next day morning 8AM, I was unable to work because of no food at night and more Beer. I had tried all my brain
only frustration was coming no results, suddenly all the devils joined the call for status report, My ass whole
manager always interested to insult developers in front of ever body, to make sure he is still best developer in the Team.
First question came from him,” How come we missed it in our Unit Testing”? Who cares Boss? Especially, when you are not
really responsible for that particular issue. I asked to him, do you know who had done this project? Do you think I am the
responsible for all the delivery? am I or you are the developement Manager , You should know we always having issue with template
at our local, I tried to hide the real mistake, because end of the Uma is my friend, I can’t put him in trouble. Have we asked to our
system test team, how come they approve that, they must have caught this issue if they would have really tested it?
Management team started taking KT, how does the code really works there, I was fade up with Raj even,
that fellow is unable to answer manager on call, not even to work on issue. Now i have to tell them how the code logic
and script logic works on template generation, suddenly my ST manger ask me do you have WordPad, in your system,
I was not in mood to listen for any thing, so No don’t have, immediately what operating system you are using, my manager
intruped and started guiding me go to program/Accessories/WordPad, I told him I know. But why do we need that?
He suggested nothing wrong to try that, Ok I will do that. Suddenly another big blast of R&D come from management team,
if we open in notepad, we can find the difference, I was completely pissed of, if I really start listing them, they will make me mad.
So, let handle them fist, next that issue, I asked to ST Manager, what you think, is this NASA’s research lab? How can we differentiate
two templates code by looking just byte code? If you think you can. Please let me know. Meanwhile User came on call
to discussed that issue, no one except my US Manager (DV) and myself talk to him, finally he asked, what you think
can we make it done, I took 30 second to answer, but answer was so diplomatic, probably yes, we have 95% probability to make it done, but I can’t deny of 5% no. he was happy to wait for final time. Suddenly My US(DV) manager announce on call, guys please don’t irritate to my developer, they are working from last 20 hours and we are just keep asking all useless question. He approaches for break to us, but my

Ok let’s Pandey go home and take rest, once he continues, Raj can take off. What a great Approach, My System Engineer Mr. Krishna questioned to me, when can I expect Pandey will be On again? I have no answer, he repeats the question, I told him listen, I will take minimum an hours to reach and same to come back, probably I need one hour to complete my routine work, how come you expecting I will be able to start just after 2 hours? He might not be aware am, a desktop User not laptop. He told , why to come back at office connect from home man, Ok, sure why not, but have small issue in that, what is that we asked? Actually, it’s Sunday today so no facility-team will be available to pack my desktop and authorized to take it with me, and another is while I don’t have system so no connection at home. He was shocked by silent killing answer. After 10 minutes My ST Manger joined the call again and repeated same question about my availability, I repeated the same
answer that was not bearable from US management team, because they don’t need this kind of issue.Finally, US manager decided and asked us leave now and try to come back as earliest as possible. When we back to office it was 6 PM, my US developer was working on that, finally myself, System Engineer and US Developer decided to deliver pervious release tempate because we all knows no body cares about the some
text chnages,even though It's wrong but not crime.
Most intresting thing is that,the Tester of that Project is Now in "US" and the Developer is out of MMC, that's how the management is?
Biggest Mistake of my career:
It was December of 2008, when I decided to go for Civil service exam, started preparing for that, I knew one thing my current MMC
is best place to save the time. I just spoke to my X-Lead Alam, regarding the job change next week I got call from Oracle,
Even interview was user friendly, but problem was with time management for exam, even Lam suggested, don’t worry man,

Senior manager given me a fake smile, I am trying to fill the gap between you and management team, my expression was very innocent, really, and how you going to do that, by convincing me, I am really good for 2 only. No answer, He started, market is not good,
so you know right? He crossed his limit, by simply insulting me, I have no control what am saying, but I put little smile on my face,
and asked to him, do you take care of all the guys who moved out from here or forced to leave, or this special kind is limited period offer for selective candidate.anyway, Thanks for your concern to advising me about market, however I don’t care about that,

Most surprising Even:
My rating helps me allot, frequently taking off, by simple mail NFW/WFH(even though i had no laptop)/Personal Work taking off
My frequency to office was 2 to 3 days in per week. Suddenly after a Month when Thanks program started my Manager nominated
me for template work( not really but for how i f**ked his ass).It was like not less than any miracle, for Team and Me it was like
Pandey got Noble Prize, but it was not end of the story, Next month (Feb/2009) suddenly they announce BRAVO award, as far
as i know Best in my MMC. not only me but every one in Team knew it, i am not the right candidate but why i got that.
That makes every one understand doesn't matter how much you work but what Manager think you work and worth.
New Idiot in Team,and Chandra's good Bye:
Probably it was Sept/Oct of 2008 when Chandra introduced another idiot in Team,Mr Kumar.
First day when we come across us, Chandra was off that day, but he informed Me and Rama, Kumar is joining today
and He was his collogue in last company. Rama come with kumar and introduced him, my expression was another crap
Chandra introduced in team, but i realize this guy is going to change team environment because of our idiot group.
Kumar good in all. So, whenever Mr. Khan is off, he have to work as PA for managers.
Chandra the biggest stupid i ever seen. who have to do all the crap things but never get noticed.
One day our Most intelligent Manger asked him "what Value are you adding in the Team"?. That'a all he asked for release,
but again all US manager's approve and time pass technique took more than a month to leave.
But this was really a good lesson for him, Even he did so many things for application, all local setup and CC he only
started. Now he is no where. But I am prety sure his last contribution going to Kill application soon, that is CC.
Meeting for Team Building Plan:
We have one great thing in my application, Micro-management and New ideas of follow-up.Our frequency of meeting
Started growing exponentially, it's very simple logic, If you don't have work, you will disturb others.
New bridge have thounds dream and plan same here, We have to do best by working extra hours but no demand.
Who will be agree, except some fools, Rama, Pranava was there Now Kumar joins that group.
One day in our team meeting,Mr. Manager was so happily sharing team acheivement and looking forward for team
building activity. Every body was silently approving Ya, yes, ok. i started looking else where.
but he must want my feedback i hope, he directed to me, what do you think pandey? I don't think we can have
this kind of activity in our Team, because from past few months our senior Dv's Leads are moving out and you
guys don't have time to come for farewell, it's not for them only even we understand it very well the day when
we will move out, we have face same. That's how you building team. Mr. perfect never like if some one told
truth to him specially in front of all. we all know his answer, Nasir don't you do that. Again i have to speak,
Why Nasir,He is not manager, we all know it, we have three manages here in India team, why Nasir have to do that?

My Team Lead(Alam) and Management Team:
Alam was good in all aspect good In Techniuical , communication and Team building.
He was really frank with team, He used to force me to come with him for walkin-interviews.
Very soon in he realize, This MMC can give only brand name, nothing more than that.
One thing which is open secret in MMC, never share your rating with team as it's BCG violation.
Alam was all round Gandhi division( Ghandhi division means rating 2).Probably that was one of the reason what makes him to look for other options. He got two offers one from i-flex and another Oracle, even i went with him during his HR interview in Oracle. Manager's having one best quality Usually we saw that in our pet's. Me and Alam used to sit on same desk,because of other application chicks,The day when he was searching best word to say good bye, My dear Manager come and asked to check his mail, we all curious to know what is there in that mail, Wow, it was 60 thousands hike. He never got that much hike in his career in MMC, but it was too late. As soon as mail arrived to Mangers mail Box, A new hot waves started, result we all know, Meeting. Few rounds of meeting for f**king negotiation, but 45 days US and 60 thousands was too less to negotiate. We have one senior manager, half drunk every time He have best way to make you understand the world, Always talk like most experience man in world, he told him
where ever you go, no one can pay you what we are paying, all useless MMC policy discussion and big dreams. What i understand, he is right because that Ass Hole never saw other companies offer letter in his life time.

Misuse of MMC facilities:
Venky, took over all Alam’s project for coming release, he had really tough time without Alam.
Venky and me was not only project partner but became party partner as well.
Working over night making shift money, using the office car. I have few more friends in team, One my classmate another Dada, We started taking office car at 8 PM , going out drink and dinner,even MMC have to pay for late hours. That was untraceable violation. Actually i started this plan,they just join me. Venky used to make some US call, whenever we found some friends online during our late hours work. I used office phone for my family conference call once or twice. All on Mr. Khan's passcode. Soon we got new arrangement of Team, again good luck me and venky was in same team under Mr. Chandra, cool guy, but not fit for this MMC. First day itself i realize, He can't fight for team's right. In new team i mate to Rama, the best developer i ever seen.

Real hard working days with Zero technical gain:
It was dec/2007, when real curse of my X-AMP’s started, manager asked me to work in one contract generation project, Mr. Alam was planned to leave from our great MMC that time. No way to escape, so I started working on that project around 15 days cautiously, I used to work till night 2 AM and report at morning 10 AM, all F**King work, take the rft documents correct the format and run the script, to check if every thing file, keep doing it till it’s complete, same but double work with PDF documents, because it needs to correct rtf first the convert it to PDF and retest. After 15 days one my manager asked me how much time you requires to fix an issue, I check that and ask for 2 hr’s it was probably 2 PM, she came to me at 8 PM for status, same response working on that. she asked which watch you refer, don’t you think, your 2 hours over, I was frustrated with F**King work, so cool answer, 2 hours is more than enough, but if am not going to take care of remaining issue at same time, I have to re work on same template for other issues, that time this issue may come again, who will take of that, She has no answer. Finally I analyze, after two weeks, I am doing useless work, Let all issue comes along and fix at same time, I spoke to the most coolest but silent killer for developer Mr. S.P, to make sure my point. While working on this project I lost my team lead position because of one of senior F**King ass whole team lead, he decided the assignment this time, my self and Paul have no time for that, got high escalation because some of my reportee, directly reported to that Ass whole. Team politics started here.
When I made some one cry:
I was working with Paul, DJ and Miss. Talat. Talat is one who joined with us. Paul was working on some technical issue with DJ, me and Talat was busy with templates. Probably DJ reported some thing wrong about her to manager. She was already in frustration of late night and useless work with no value either way. It was around
When suddenly I asked to her, Hey what the hell you did from past 6 hours, same issue again. She was on fire, her reply was mixed with all frustration, I am not doing any thing and I am not going to do any thing, go and report to your Manager or DJ, and she started crying.
Till she was blasting, it was ok, but when some one starts crying specially girl, that means I am gone. She packed her self, and step out.
I was running behind her to console her, even though I had no clue, what to say. I started, Sorry I don’t meant to hurt you, I was as usual kidding, Please be calm, No impact, then I had no other go except using my own funda, Every body, whoever on the floor, started looking at me, it was seems harassment case at first sight. I took her in corner of lift lobby, instead of her, I started blasting on her, What the hell wrong with you, Please go ahead and complaint to manager, HR partner, Police, whom you want to, but please don’t create any blunder here.
Now do whatever you want, I realize my mistake I should not be so friendly with you, in future, if we work together, I will maintain that.
She was astonished. I came back to my desk, but unable to work, actually I don’t like to hurt any body; in this case the victim was my good friend. Paul came to my desk, with mixed expression probably he was not sure what to say, after a big pause, He started, what the f**k you did, don’t you know how to talk. I had no answer. Actually I was not only co-developer with DJ and Talat but security guard as well, It was kind of my duty to drop them first, then back to my place, I was surprised, how come she is going without me, it’s 1:30 AM. After 5 minute she came to my desk, before that I told to DJ, am leaving, drop a mail whatever is pending, I will check tomorrow, without even asking, how will go. Her first question was, Are you coming with me or not”? After few seconds with saying any thing, I just follow her. On the way of her home, she asked, why are you so silent? I have nothing to talk; we know each other only inside the office building. Then why are coming with you, It’s not the part of your Job? She was again ready to cry. Please keep safe distance from me, because I don’t have much control on my tongue which may hurt you. Next day early morning she called me minimum 5 times, putting my cell on silent, she was thinking either way, this fellow is still angry on me that’s why not even lifting my calls. Later I got to know my dearest manager and DJ was the real culprit, to make her cry, I was just ensure that.

My New Team Lead:
I work with my old lead for very short spam of time, so fortunately all went well, no bad memory either of us should carrying.
Actually, my new lead Mr. Alam, requested for a new recourse to manager which make me to be in his team. Team of 5 guys including me.
Venky was star in the team, and Raj another team mate, the kind of guy who really ensure MMC standard and CMM level of company, don’t think much about him, man…, He just knew what documents should be placed where. I started with one of the best Lead, I am really missing him, the great Man who really knows how to handle the team and how to build them. We use to enforce lead for lunch party, does not matter whether lead is paying or venky. Venky started teaching me the application and technology as well. We used to sit an hour every day in cafeteria for all useless talk and reporting to manger team meeting.
First Fight with Management Team:
I started with one project, I still remember P0A59, 90% was JSP text change and 10% of logic, Servlet change but that was related to ID’s so kind of project where you need to have careful. I got design document prepared by Venky, all things are mention clearly what need to be done. The day comes when we suppose to load the code for testing, after loading the code, due to some database issue, all went wrong..
Alam and Venky were out for coffee, my assistant manage, one of the most irritating F**King Fellow came to me with one of the other Lead
I was reading log to check how come it happens. Suddenly Other lead started questing why this, not that, I was pissed of, I replied who coded it, me right? Then how come you know what should print here do you what was requirement? Assistant manager ask me, if you did it in right way why this issue, I was in hot mood…, and replied that’s what am checking, wait am for some time. Fortunately My lead back with Venky and without even knowing the issue, he told hey guys I check and review all the code …, no issue there let me check, why all this nonsense going here. Meanwhile he checks with our
First BCG Violation in MMC:
It was my first time when I was participating in grand release of project, Oct/2007. All new for me, that was Sunday night when suddenly
Ever green baby of team call me on call, because due to my code some thing went wrong, I was drunk, no way to go on call, so Alam joined the
Call, and discussed as usual it’s not Pandey’s mistake System engineer agreed for his mistake even though, it was completely my miss. I will never forget what I did, For one pre-populating JSP text, I put the condition, but condition was forced to true, off course it was just testing the code in local, but delivered same code to Production, As expected from my system testing team. Finally I was started sweating when I realize what I did, Alam fix that issue immediately and deploy that code, He told me all set beta be cool, it’s not a big mistake, it may happens. He was not aware am not afraid to issue, but for some thing else.

Getting Project:
As Usual we all knows, we have to go over the Interview process based on the project requirement, Monday we all reached at New office in time…, Every body was looking decent and prepared except my self.
Suddenly one lady came and calls 4 names for interview…, after half an hour Myself, Paul and beautiful girl Talat got a call from Senior Advisory Manager, and she directly introduced us with one of Senior Manager, First impression was good because my senior manager was looking drunk; He took us from the interview place to our work place in his car, My Manager was waiting for us at down stair to receive, As soon I came to know this office is going to be my work place, I decided am not going to answer any single question in interview, because I can’t travel 80 kms everyday, but plan fails, no interview …, nothing.
Getting Started with Work:
My First company, first team and off course First team lead. Team was so good complete India, The day when we assigned under the Lead , one of other Lead console me “Best of Luck”, I was astonished what is this very soon I got to know why did he console me. My lead means miss. Perfect, probably the word what I hate most, and another twist was I hate to work under girls but no choice. First day itself she asked me to go through all the recorded training, She only provide me the head phone, I tried few times to understand what hell the trainer want to say, I can just imagine, a poor illiterate guys is watching Titanic sake of English fashion, How long I can torture my self, I kept that training going on and started listing music through the headset. I was not aware, she is going to question what all I learnt from training…. What to answer, I told her I tried to go over the same training 5 times no use am unable to understand, what he trying to say, might be because of the American-Chinese mixed tone.
She asked me to keep going through the session; meanwhile we will have some knowledge transfer session here. I don’t know why guys have insane feeling for her, but I always find her good to me, may be I was lucky, only issue with me , I can’t manage my self under the lady head.
First Lesson from my Teacher:
All F**King North Indian attitude to show up, one of my senior Mr. jain ask me to give the presentation on jsp, Even it’s not good but truth, I don’t like to go on stage…, and am really feared to talk specially in English on some specified topic. No other go, day arrive, I came with some slide show, I took the chair, like a CEO, and propagate same what all I have mention on slide. Once session end …more or less all the folks out to presentation room, except few guys like me, Paul, and few new joinee, Mr. Chandra (My Guru),broke his silence, the first word was what you think, are you CEO, senior manager or what. I was fucked off, what’s wrong now, all went well, Now why all this. Lecture started ….
I though some thing wrong with this fellow, Might had fight with wife last night, no place to take it off and now on me. I really never imagine this guy is going to be my Guru(teacher) in future. Now am his student …. Not in school or college but in his Kung-Fu school.

Developer in MMC
As soon as you start reading this the first word what going to strike your mind is MMC?
Saying truth MMC is not my invention actually, I have a dada(Big-bro) in my team, he introduced this word to me first, anyway what exactly it means is manager managed company instead of Multi national company, have very small but significant difference, in present scenario 99% MNC’s are MMC.
Fortunately even, I am part of one of that MMC; I have still fresh memory of the day when, after lot off struggle I insure my entry there. The great historical day of my life,
The Day after Training:
We finished our 20days of training and next day we had meeting with our Learning and knowledge head, As we all knows even Manager’s need feedback to show to his/her manager at year end to make sure his/her growth. I have habit not to answer any question till not directed to me, coming to real point, Our L&K head came to board room…with the coordinator to take training feedback, every body started saying good, great…….
I was silent as usual, He pointed me ..Hello Mr, no response..The boy in yellow shirt behind the girls, that was his biggest mistake may be life time, I had no choice, except The feedback, So instead of answering I started questioning, what you think in 18days 10 different technologies will make any sense to learn, It’s not college where you have to make sure your about answer book nothing else, here we have to put that in practice, …
After a minute break, I told him I am not sure if I gain some thing from training because, I knew more than that before training. A big silence in room, every one was waiting for L&K head’s response…….Finally, like all other manager he accepted….. , We sent on bench.Bench means in-laws house, No work still getting paid.
Bench Life:
We are around 40 guys and had only few desktop to check mails and all, so I used to sit in one small conference room with my classmate Mr. Paul, and few folks, I used to help guys to spoil there future, that means to get the girl friend, Few days …It was all ok..Going office on time enjoying coffee, tea and reading news paper ….and being back at sharp 5PM, very soon I thought no use man, be at home, share your password to your friend let him check your office mail …. Why to be in office whole day just for mail, even have to wait for your turn when system will be free. After a week one day on Friday around
